Another state bites the dust! Florida Gov. DeSantis announced that they "will Accept Bitcoin' for State Taxes.
Florida is the 3rd state in terms of population with more than 21mn inhabitants.
What is also very interesting is to see how popular it is for politicians to accept cryptocurrencies as more and more of their constituents use/invest in them.
Another interesting thing is that it comes from Gov. DeSantis which is seen as a favorite for the Republican 2024 nomination.
What will happen?

Gov. DeSantis said he's directed state agencies to figure out how to allow businesses to make tax payments in cryptocurrency.

While the Miami government has been recruiting crypto firms, the state government has been less active.
Overall, it shows that the state is supporting Miami Mayor's initiatives and will also try to be an attractive place for Crypto businesses.
This is great news but as a reminder, Colorado for example will begin allowing crypto tax payments by individuals this year!
Still some catch-up to do but it is definitely heading in the right direction.
