I once wrote about my bad experiences and mistrust towards the small crypto exchanges. They seemed to me like ripoff merchants with no intention of being anything but ripoff merchants. But, can I trust the prominent ones like KuCoin?

With KuCoin I can easily deposit money from my bank account to the exchange but there is no option of withdrawing from the exchange to the bank account! Seems odd for a big exchange, right?

Try opening a complaint with them. You will be prompted that it will take at least a week before someone looks into it. Imagine having thousands or millions with them and waiting for a week for someone to acknowledge your presence!! A prominent exchange that is overwhelmed by complaints!

In their app, every time you log in you can claim 'candies'. What do these 'candies' mean? KuCoin say they "reserve all rights to the final interpretation of the KuCoin Candy". At the moment, these 'candies' mean absolutely nothing. This speaks volumes.

Personally I'm not an expert in the crypto world. I simply do not understand it. How can you have so many brilliant projects claiming to do brilliant things yet the gas fees remain ridiculously high? I think people need to step back (big time) and stop conforming. Once you do, you realize how much you where being manipulated.
