Revelation 11:15-19 (NRSV)
15Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying,
"The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord
and of his Messiah,
and he will reign forever and ever."
16Then the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17singing,
"We give you thanks, Lord God Almighty,
who are and who were,
for you have taken your great power
and begun to reign.
18The nations raged,
but your wrath has come,
and the time for judging the dead,
for rewarding your servants, the prophets
and saints and all who fear your name,
both small and great,
and for destroying those who destroy the earth."
19Then God's temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple; and there were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail.
And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, rose before God from the hand of the angel.

Revelation 8:1-5 (NRSV)
1When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. 2And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.
3Another angel with a golden censer came and stood at the altar; he was given a great quantity of incense to offer with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar that is before the throne. 4And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, rose before God from the hand of the angel. 5Then the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar and threw it on the earth; and there were peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.

Psalm 112 (NRSV)
1Praise the LORD!
Happy are those who fear the LORD,
who greatly delight in his commandments.
2Their descendants will be mighty in the land;
the generation of the upright will be blessed.
3Wealth and riches are in their houses,
and their righteousness endures forever.
4They rise in the darkness as a light for the upright;
they are gracious, merciful, and righteous.
5It is well with those who deal generously and lend,
who conduct their affairs with justice.
6For the righteous will never be moved;
they will be remembered forever.
7They are not afraid of evil tidings;
their hearts are firm, secure in the LORD.
8Their hearts are steady, they will not be afraid;
in the end they will look in triumph on their foes.
9They have distributed freely, they have given to the poor;
their righteousness endures forever;
their horn is exalted in honor.
10The wicked see it and are angry;
they gnash their teeth and melt away;
the desire of the wicked comes to nothing.
When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears, and rescues them from all their troubles.

Psalm 34:15-22 (NRSV)
15The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous,
and his ears are open to their cry.
16The face of the LORD is against evildoers,
to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
17When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears,
and rescues them from all their troubles.
18The LORD is near to the brokenhearted,
and saves the crushed in spirit.
19Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
but the LORD rescues them from them all.
20He keeps all their bones;
not one of them will be broken.
21Evil brings death to the wicked,
and those who hate the righteous will be condemned.
22The LORD redeems the life of his servants;
none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.
