My friend and I are relatively new to investing in cryptocurrency. We tried a few strategies to grow our portfolios, but determining which strategy to use was difficult.  

Our experience researching investing strategies wasn't any easier. There are way too many stories about the pros and cons of crypto investing. One story often contradicted another.  

My friend and I ultimately decided to conduct some investing experiments using our own money to conduct trades on the Voyager app. Here is one of the investment experiments.

The Experiment Yielded a 28% Return

We decided to take $15.00 and see if we could achieve a return greater than 10% in a relatively short time period.  Below are one set of transactions:  

The $15.00 investment increased to $19.30 resulting in a profit of $4.30. That’s a 28.7% return in about two weeks.   

A market order was used for each transaction. Six of the transactions were roughly between the hours of 8 a.m. and 10 a.m., another six of the transactions were conducted roughly between the hours of 5 p.m. and 10 p.m., and the other two transactions were around 2:30 a.m. A minimum amount of time was spent monitoring and researching the crypto currencies purchased, held, and sold.
