Greeting crypto & cipher enthusiasts.
CypherThugz presents the 34th Cipher-Puzzle. This week's theme is the Boozeman Cafe Heist, with a prize of (CA)25$ worth of Bitcoin and 2,000,000 $KAPA tokens (the official currency of the CypherThugz game).
CypherThugz is an adult-themed puzzle solving game where players solve ciphers to win prizes. The game simulates heist events from the perspective of the CypherThugz, a group of free-lance code breakers, played by the players of the game.
In this event participants will sneak into the Boozeman Cafe via a delivery truck and attempt to break into their safe's.
There are three safe's, each containing a different item. One holds a set of documents, another has some $KAPA, and the final safe holds keys to a motorcycle parked in front the cafe.
Each safe is located in a different room. Each room is locked by a different 3-letter passcode.
Participants will collectively have one chance to unlock the rooms using the proper passcode.
If a participant uses the proper passcode, that room will be unlocked, no alarm will be activated, and any participant will be able to enter the room to work on the safe.
If a participant uses the incorrect passcode, an alarm will be activated. The participant will still be able to enter the room by force, and any participant will be able to enter the room to work on the safe.
If an alarm is not activated, only one security guard will be alerted once the safe is opened.
If an alarm is activated, multiple security guards will rush towards the room. The number of security guards will be determined by a dice roll. The dice will have one less side than the number of participants in the room. Example; if there are six participants in the room, the dice will be numbered 1 to 5, and what ever number is lands on will determine the number of security that rush towards the room.
Once in a room, participants will remain in the room until the safe is opened. Participants may only enter one room. Participants cannot enter multiple rooms.
Once a safe is opened, participants in that room will attempt to escape by running out of the room past security. For every security guard, one participant will be caught. A random name picker will determine who gets caught.
The participant that opens the safe will hold the item found in the safe. If that participant is caught by security, they can select who to pass the item to among participants in their group.
Holding an item does not mean you won... you still need to get away.
After participants escape the Boozeman Cafe, they meet at the rendezvous point. Participants that were caught will have the option to work for the Boozeman's.
The remaining participants that escaped can discuss among themselves and select one or two participants from the group to hold the stolen items (Documents & KAPA).
The participants caught that began to work for the Boozeman's can select one participant each from the group of participants that escaped. If the participant selected is holding the item, then the participant working for the Boozeman's gets the item and keeps 40% of the item, the rest is returned to Boozeman's.
If the participant selected isn't holding the item, then the item is not found, and the participants that escaped will meet at the safe house.
The participant that is holding the key to the motorcycle and that has escaped to the rendezvous point will get to select any other participant at the rendezvous point to ride with them to the safe house. Participants on the motorcycle will not be able to be caught by participants working for the Boozeman's.
Once at the safe house, participants will be able to decide if they want to split the loot evenly (both $KAPA & BTC), or if they want to attempt to take it all.
If there are only two participants, a normal prisoners dilemma will occur.
If there are more than two participants, and each one decides to split, then the prize is split evenly (minus transaction fees).
If there are more than two participants, and each decides to take all, then nobody gets anything.
If there are more than two participants, and some decide to split, and others decide to take all, then the participants that chose to split are eliminated, and the players that decided to take all will play another round with the same rules.
To get clues, participants will have to nominate another participant other than themselves to receive the clue. Each day, beginning Sunday May 29th 2022, the participant with the most nominations will earn the clue. They may share it, or keep it secret, or lie and present a false clue to the rest of the participants.
