BTC: Weekly Analysis (May 10, 2026)
There are still a little over 24 hours left in the Spot market this week, and I still maintain a bearish outlook.
During this week, the opening price (82210) was very close to the previous week's high (82850), but the market failed to reach that high.
Instead, it remained within the range of the previous week's candlestick throughout the week, and it wasn't until today, Saturday, that the price reached the previous week's low.
This suggests two main possible scenarios that will be confirmed after the weekly close tomorrow, Sunday, and they are as follows:
Scenario 1
The FVG-M restricts an upward move, and 82850 remains the May high.
This scenario will allow for a lower stop-loss level.
Scenario 2
We expect an explosive upward move on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday that breaks through the 82850 high and closes the February CME gap at 84300.
In this case, ideally, we should wait for confirmation of a reversal on the daily and 4H timeframes.
Personally, a daily close below 82850 would be a good sign.
In conclusion:
Let's wait for the week to end, because nothing is confirmed over the weekend. Adjust your risk for next week because the price is about to make a decision, and it will be accompanied by significant volatility.
