Airbnb X Travala :

An increasing number of companies are making encrypted payment available to their customers. However, some companies are taking an unusual approach to cryptocurrency adoption.

The No. 1 feature that users are requesting in 2022, according to Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky, is the ability to pay for bookings in cryptocurrencies.

Clear price displays, a guest loyalty program, updated cleaning fees, more long-term stays and discounts, better customer service, and "commercial spaces (kitchens, shared work)" are among the other major proposals. Airbnb's CEO specifically confirmed that the company is looking for commercial spaces, saying.  "I'm already working on most of them, I'll look at others now." says Chesky

Some governments prohibit overseas transfers, according to one person who suggested crypto. As a result, he relies on digital currencies. "We are looking into that." Chesky replied .

In the travel industry, Airbnb maintains an online marketplace. There are already more than 5.6 million listings worldwide, according to the company's website. Airbnb has served more than 1 billion customers since its inception in 2007, and more than 4 million hosts have listed their properties on the marketplace.

In most countries, Airbnb accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and JCB as payment methods. Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Paypal are also accepted.  Airbnb currently does not accept cryptocurrencies as a payment method. Airbnb will join Tesla and AMC, among others, in accepting cryptocurrency as a payment method if the popular recommendation is implemented.

Although Airbnb is just beginning to use payment crypto, DTravel, a decentralized home sharing platform made this possible in 2021

The platform is integrated with Travala.com. This is managed by users holding the DTravel token (TRVL), which is backed by Binance.

Customers can book 250,000 homes using cryptocurrency. With a global network of 20,000 homes, the TRVL token can be used to book homes. The TRVL token is listed on exchanges such as MEXC Global, Bybit, Gate, and KuCoin.

Airbnb has also been considering cryptocurrency payment for quite some time. "We've been following the space for a long time," Chesky said, noting that "the founder of Coinbase was one of our first employees."

"The key is when ordinary people understand how new technology has improved their lives, beyond the initial excitement," the CEO added.

Bitcoin price is still in a downtrend below the price area of $45,800 and below the EMA 100 (H1).

Bitcoin price in the past sessions for the 4th time failed to break the EMA 200 (H1) and making a double top pattern started with the very strong negative corrections downwards from the price areas of U$ 46,000, U$ 45,000, U$ 44,000, U$ 43,000 and even testing the price area of U$ 42,270.

Now at the time of writing the Bitcoin price is tracking in the U$42,760 price area.

The Bitcoin price needs to try to get back above the U$43,500 and U$44,000 price area, or even above the EMAs 5 and 20 so that with further consolidations it will try to move positively above U$44,500 and U$45,000 for the next few sessions.

If the Bitcoin price fails with these positive advances above the EMAs 5 and 20, the negative corrections will go below U$42,000 and U$41,500, where a search for the U$40,000 bottom will emerge, and could still extend below U$39,780.

Only above the 5 and 20 EMA in the short term, for the Bitcoin price to break out of a risk area of the continuities of negative corrections to below the U$42,000 and U$41,500.

Sellers are in full control of the situation and are eyeing the U$40,000 price area.

Major Resistance areas - $43,070, $43,500 and $43,888.

Major Support areas - $42,566, $42,000 and $41,680.

H4 chart :

Bitcoin price is tracking below the EMAs and below the Ichimoku Cloud.

The Bitcoin price would need strong consolidations above the $42,000 price area in order to get back on track with positive developments above $43,500 and $44,220 for the next few sessions.

If the Bitcoin price loses the $42,000 price area, the negative corrections will go below $41,500 and $41,000 and look for the $40,000 price area.

Follow the buyers in attempts to keep the Bitcoin price above the U$42,000 price area.

The chart in H4 will follow all week to have a parameter of the Bitcoin Price Evolution. Only a few adjustments will be made.

Resistances: U$ 43,262 // U$ 43,810 // U$ 44,536 // U$ 45,148.

Supports: U$ 42,586 // U$ 42,227 // U$ 41,713 // U$ 41,216.

H1 chart :

Bitcoin's price follows below the EMAs and below the Ichimoku Cloud. It would be of utmost importance in the short term, that the Bitcoin price gets the positive advances above the EMAs 5 and 20 so that with further consolidations and with positive developments it advances above the U$44,500 and stays above the Base Line of the Ichimoku Cloud; and tries a search for the U$45,000.

If the price of Bitcoin fails to hold above the EMA 5 right away, the downside corrections will go below $42,000 and $41,400 and may still go in search of the $40,000 breakout.

Follow the buyers in attempts to continue with the positive developments above the EMA 5.
