URL Short Links in Publish0x Posts

Briefly, while I am aware that URL shorteners make you a few cents, I just NEVER click those links.

I LIKE KNOWING WHERE I'M GOING!

Having been in the computer science field over 20 years, I did click those links many times for many different reasons. Some for research, some before I knew any better!

While I'm not worried about drive-by-downloads and malware and what-nots, if you really want to share your knowledge, put the real link in!

Some times I'll Google the site before even going. I've been around. Sometimes I can smell a rat!
