Chronic Pain Management: Mother Nature's Way

By Crypto Pappy | CrytpoConfucius | 17 Apr 2019

I've seen first-hand the literal deaths of my friends and the life altering changes experienced by other friends that the pharmasudical's answer to pain management caused. There must be a better way! And there IS!

Chronic paid is almost a universal experience. There are over 1.5 billion people suffering with chronic pain worldwide. You can view more statistics here

I live by the "Work hard, play harder" phylisophy. When I am playing I live by the "If you ain't wrecking, you ain't riding hard enough" philosophy. Wrecking isn't just limited to when I ride bike. I've 'wrecked' playing many different sports, as I'm sure many of you have.

Time has marched on for ole Crypto Pappy and I've been eyeing up 'replacement' parts! I could use some new knees, and other parts.

So far, with all the doctors I've been to, they keep pushing these PILLS! I stopped taking their addictive opiates over 15 years ago. They didn't really kill the pain, I just didn't care about the pain when I was on their drugs.

And I will NOT become an addict of any sort. The PILLS don't work and the world has seen what opiates has done to people's lives and communities.

Here's how to manage pain, Mother Natures Way: HOT SAUCE / CHILI PEPPERS

Even if you believe you do not like spicy things, give it a try with the hotest you can handle. Start with something mild.

I like them very hot, but I always did.

If you have chronic pain, then the hot sauce or chili peppers will be a mild discomfort compared to the ALL DAY grunts and groans of pain, and the physical and mental limits it puts on us.

Hot Sauce and chili peppers release endorphins.

CHILI PEPPERS
Researchers have discovered that the brain is filled with receptors for capsaicin, the compound in chili peppers that gives them their heat. When we eat chili peppers, our brain responds by releasing endorphins, which are natural feel-good chemicals – the very same endorphins that are released when we exercise. People who eat spicy foods report a mood-lifting effect similar to the high reported by runners after working out.

I've had 'runners high', that's awesome too! But I can run anymore. So chili peppers, curtosy of Mother Nature, it is!

My most recent proof: Was wrestling with the grand children. While distracted by one, the other took a flying leap right on my rib cage. Yep, now that's 'broken'. I'm not going to the hospital. I've been here before. My lung isn't punctured, so it's no big deal.

Expect for the pain. There ain't no sleeping when you're in pain.

So I made me a sandwhich. And put some Sriracha sauce from Wendy's and Hot Sauce from KFC on my sandwhich and - POOF - pain now wondering what's going on!

After the wonderful flush feeling hot sauces give, the pain was a good 75% less than just 5 minutes ago.

If I get addicted to hot sauce and chili peppers, I'm okay with that.

Mother Nature makes great medicine.

Three Cheers for Mother Nature!
