Binance, the well-known trading platform, has announced that it has just completed this June 28 the largest update in its code in the last two years. As a result, as its founder Changpeng Zao has reported, the platform is now much faster.
As Zao indicates, Binance has rewritten all the platform code and the matching engine with a new programming language to achieve higher performance.
Zao has continued commenting that this modification allows a speed 10 times greater than the previous version of the platform, which would allow them to handle a volume of transactions 100 times greater, although some peripheral systems that can act as a bottleneck will have to be modified and adapted.
