According to recent Banksless DAO news, Blockchain-based NFT marketplaces OpenSea and Blur are engaged in fierce competition. Blur, which launched in October last year, has become increasingly popular, with Decrypt reporting that its NFT sales neared $2 billion in March. The experienced team behind Blur has raised $11 million from investors.

In response to Blur's rise, OpenSea has launched a no-fee "Pro" marketplace that includes NFT rewards. OpenSea Pro is a dynamic NFT marketplace aggregator catering to advanced collectors and is a rebranded version of Gem v2, a product OpenSea acquired a year ago.

Meanwhile, LooksRare V2 has launched with new features for all users, reduced fees, and gas-efficient contracts. The changes make NFT trading more accessible and allow LooksRare to compete with the professional trading features offered by Blur and OpenSea Pro.

In other news, a "Get out of jail" NFT collection featuring allies of former President Trump is in the works. The art, created by DALL-E 2, is based on prompts provided by Trump himself. Additionally, BanklessDAO has collaborated with Dark World Arts to create an NFT piece, "Lastly," which will be available during the BanklessDAO Community Call.
