From time to time, I listen to the podcast "Overthrowing the Network State" by Blockchain Socialist. In this post, I am writing about how I understand one of the recent podcast episodes with Glen Weyl, co-founder of Radicalxchange. 

Regarding the podcast, it is presented in the following way: 

Overthrowing the Network State (OTNS) is a series in collaboration with Blockchaingov where we critique The Network State by Balaji Srinivasan while also pulling out the salvageable parts and concepts in discussion with a variety of guests. We are overall critical of Balaji's specific ideas in the book. Still, we want to discuss them with intellectual honesty and highlight the larger concepts around how these technologies are and could subvert state structures.

In one of the recent podcast episodes, Glen Weyl, a political economist, social technologist, and author, discusses the concept of network states, decentralization, and the importance of forming new publics and promoting pluralism.
