Here are some recent updates: 

The Shanghai upgrade on Ethereum went live, unlocking staked ETH gradually and avoiding significant selling pressure. With its successful implementation, Ethereum's price reached new heights, breaking the $2,000 mark. Bitcoin's recent surge past $30,000 brought MicroStrategy's holdings back to profitability. The number of Bitcoin HODLers has steadily increased since August 2021, with around 45 million investors holding Bitcoin.

The IMF plans to publish a handbook to assist countries in implementing Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) as interest from different states reaches an unprecedented level. The manual is expected to be completed within five to six years, with Japan being the most significant donor and supporter.

Swiss courts have approved FTX's application to explore strategic options, including a potential business sale, following the cryptocurrency exchange's insolvency. The earliest possible restart of the exchange is the second quarter of 2024. In a recent interview, Warren Buffet criticized Bitcoin, referring to it as a "gambling token" without any intrinsic value.
