As we all know by now the Geneva Motor show was canceled because of the CoronaVirus, so many motor brands are now using social media to promote their concept cars and latest releases, very clever strategy born and a testament to how we adapt. I saw this one on Supercar Blondie's channel here are several video's I have found. In my humble opinion, this concept called "MORPHOZ" is one of the most innovative designs, this side of the 21st century. Cars that transform their shape and adapt to the owner's needs, wow this is amazing.
Imagine adding a compact multi-cryptocurrency miner in this car so all extra electricity generated could be utilized to mine relevant tokens, perhaps used for Toll Roads or to offset charging station costs, or give owners carbon rewards for x miles traveled, the use cases are infinite. As cars become more and more connected we will start to see incredible advances in experiences beyond just driving the cars, but how they influence our lifestyles also, a very exciting future indeed.
Renault MORPHOZ is Renault's new electric concept car, customizable and shareable but mostly evolutive. It's a trailblazer for the Renault electric range of the next few years. Renault MORPHOZ pushes the limits of mobility and stretches out to adapt to its user's needs.
The car transforms from "city-mode", a shorter vehicle with an adapted autonomy, to "travel-mode", where the vehicle and its autonomy extend to allow you to travel further. The batteries that aren't in the vehicle while in "city mode" can power household or neighborhood equipment thanks to smart charging equipment.
Renault MORPHOZ is a personal vehicle that you can share when you don't use it. Equipped with AI and an adaptable cockpit, it nurtures conversations and exchanges between passengers.
Some of the exterior and interior, as well as the incredible morphic features, when the dashboard screens transform by sliding forward and opening like butterfly wings, to reveal multiple screens seamlessly is really an amazing feat of engineering, the clever way the seats can rotate around, the center console almost absorbs the mobile phone to then connect to the car's AI, and changing the length of the car as mentioned depending on the conditions of use.
They have also taken great care to use recycled materials as much as possible with the use of recycled plastic for the floor of the car, repurposed wood for the center console, as well as eco-sourced materials for the seats.
