Since you are here, Publish0x needs no introduction. For the uninitiated, r/cryptocurrency is a subreddit dedicated to crypto matters on Reddit while Stacker News is often patronised by Bitcoin enthusiasts.
The common thread among them is that they are crypto sites, so articles on Bitcoin are rather likely to gain traction. But which platform will give you the most bang for your buck? The only way to find out is to post the same article on these three sites. So, for the purpose of furthering investigative journalism and enhancing the clarity of content creators worldwide, that’s what I did.
First example: What are your thoughts on Michael Saylor?
R/cryptocurrency

Calculating the amount I earned isn’t an exact science, so let me guesstimate by making the most informed assumptions I have at my disposal.
I gained 42 upvotes, so that’s about 30 karma.
Users are motivated to gain as much karma as they can because the more karma they get, the more moons they will receive. Moons are the social currency employed in this sub and can be converted for ETH on SushiSwap.
The karma-to-moon ratio is not 1-to-1. It varies from month to month. I’m just gonna use the highest karma-to-moon ratio established in recent memory: 0.88.
No. of moons = 30 X 0.88 = 26.4
Each moon is usually worth ten cents, so this means that I earned $2.64 for this post on r/cryptocurrency.
Publish0x
The calculation of monetary value isn’t so onerous for Publish0x. At one glance, I can tell that I earned 47 cents for this post. It also nicely gives me a breakdown of the three cryptocurrencies I have earned as a result of this post.

Stacker News
I earned 2967 sats for this post, so if we assume that 1 BTC is equal to $30k, I netted about 90 cents from the kind users at Stacker News.

Conclusion
In regard to this post, r/cryptocurrency yielded me the most profit. However, I must clarify that the karma-to-moon ratio isn’t as high as 0.88 every month. Though I’m pretty confident that it is the highest grossing platform for me even if I take into account a lower karma-to-moon ratio. Let me take note of this month’s karma-to-moon ratio and give a better account of my earning.
Publish0x is still home for me though, because it’s where I started out writing about crypto.
