Is curiosity an important trait to have in crypto investing?

Whenever we discuss the traits necessary for a successful crypto investor, patience will emerge as a top-of-mind priority. Especially when some of us are unlucky enough to buy certain crypto near the top and are waiting for the next bull run to recoup our losses. We crane our necks, preparing for the opportune moment to execute our DCA out strategy.

Patience will be lauded as a virtue in crypto investing but what about curiosity? When we have an inquisitive mindset, we will be more open-minded to venture out of our comfort zone and dabble with different blockchains and tokens. This is how some of us luck out and get gifted airdrops. Or strike the lottery with memecoins. On the other hand, do you think curiosity is more of a hindrance in the crypto space? After all, anecdotally, people start out investing in low cap coins, get rekt and then return to the secure embrace of BTC and ETH. After all, curiosity killed the cat.

Do you think curiosity is an asset or a liability in the crypto space?
