Time is money, so we must be intentional about how we exchange our time and life energy for money. After all, we won’t want to exhaust ourselves for a few paltry dollars.

Nonetheless, I’m of the opinion that everything should be tried at least once so that you get rid of the nagging voice at the back of your head. You know, the one who feels a gnawing sense of FOMO and takes up precious bandwidth wondering what could have been.

That’s why I thought I would give Microlancer a shot. If you haven’t come across it before, Microlancer lets you earn some satoshis when you complete small tasks. Hence, the name Microlancer’. 

Signing up with the site was not a problem. I was greeted by the sight of miscellaneous tasks. I zeroed in on those that appealed to me and applied to tackle them.

I think it would be a good idea to select tasks that are posted recently because the post owners are more likely to remain active on the site. As you can see below, I chose to sign up for Chirpley platform for 100 sats.

What was great was that my offer was accepted promptly. Once I completed the task, I was awarded 99 sats immediately. Okay, I’m not sure why I didn’t get 100 sats, but 1 sat is seriously not worth sweating over. 

Here came the litmus test. Would Microlancer allow me to withdraw those sats? So I put it to the test. It directly linked to my Zebedee wallet, and in a blink of an eye, I was 95 sats richer.

1-2 cents is nothing to rave about, but considering that I explored this site in the final hour before my bedtime, I was happy to go to bed, feeling satisfied that I had gained a novel experience. Yes, I probably shouldn’t be using my phone before sleeping, but if you are a time-pressed parent like me, revenge procrastination is real!
