Right now, I am torn between swapping all my OP for ETH and keeping some OP as capital so that I can tackle the below quests on Coinbase wallet.
I know I’m late to this game because there are only two OP quests (NFT and Yield) available. In its heyday, the quest section had five challenges clamouring for your attention, but hey better late than never, right?
I actually DYOR prior to today because erm I spend way too much time on subreddit r/cryptocurrency. Anyway, it’s advisable that you do these quests in this order:
How to get $50+ from Coinbase’s Optimism quests
- Transfer $5 worth of ETH to Coinbase wallet on the Optimism blockchain
- Do the 2 NFT quests first
- Do the swap to USDC quest
- Do the delegate quest
- Do the Yield quest and leave your ETH OP for at least 7 days
I won’t edit the above manual ☝️since some of you may still be lucky enough to find five quests on the dashboard.
Like I said, I’m half-hearted about undertaking these quests because why not just take profits? Putting in $5 just to earn $10 doesn’t seem worth the whole - and who knows if I would encounter some hiccups along the way and inadvertently decimate my profits? But I guess the motivated side of me wants to explore the Optimism blockchain for free. Such an opportunity is unlikely to come again.
