Work and parenting have prevented me from deep diving into crypto, but now that the school year is winding down, I find myself having more time to explore the rabbit hole of crypto. Yesterday, I successfully created a MetaMask wallet on my Chrome desktop (Pro tip: use a laptop specifically for crypto purposes to prevent yourself from being a victim of phishing and honeypot scams and whatnot).
Right as we speak, I thought about syncing my MetaMask wallet with Pipeflare (https://pipeflare.io/r/dba7). I had never thought much about 1FLR tokens but because I have now accumulated a fair bit of 1FLR tokens from my referrals, I thought I would try to get more 1FLR tokens. The aim is to get enough 1FLR tokens and swap them for MATIC (which I think has more potential for profits).
It took a simple click for me to link my 1FLR address to Pipeflare.
And I could claim from the 1FLR faucet! I got about 1FLR as a result.
I never thought I would be the kind who would figure out how to utilise MetaMask but I realised that as long as I followed a reliable manual step by step (and some spare time for me not to get stressed and have the headspace to figure things out), I could do it - without shedding too much blood, sweat and tears in the process. I love how crypto pushes me out of my comfort zone and make me learn things I never thought I could do before!
