Get Paid to Read With Coinpayu

That title caught your attention, didn’t it? But don’t get your hopes raised so much; I don’t want you to be bitterly disappointed by the time you finish reading this article.

I know that many Publish0x readers cross-post on read.cash and noise.cash, two platforms that seem to be more lucrative than our beloved sanctuary. I tried them for a while but just never got into them. Perhaps, I’m hesitant about pumping in the energy to make myself known in yet another community. You mayn’t believe it but I’m actually shy in real life.

Coinpayu is a faucet that expanded its offerings to include a blog function last year. What motivates me to get it a go was that readers could earn sats by reading and writing articles. Okay, if I could earn petty sats while familiarising myself with the community on Coinpayu, there’s something to sustain me along the way. In addition, I thought the minimum withdrawal at FaucetGamers was low enough - 20,000 sats if you withdraw it to a Coinbase account. However, Coinpayu takes the cake at 11,000 sats. That shouldn’t be too bad, I guess.

Here’s the curious thing. I tried to search for more information related to blogging on Coinpayu but couldn’t find anything much. I first heard of it from a fellow Publish0x author, HattyHats (show him some love, guys!), and true enough, his article on Coinpayu blogging came up tops in my Google search. I was astonished not to find an official announcement from Coinpayu. Not saying that this is a scam, but it didn’t seem to be a savvy move on the part of Coinpayu personnel.

So, I wasn’t very motivated to go through with it. But then, a thought came into my mind, which caused me to reframe the entire situation. Why don’t I just cross-post something on Coinpayu every day for a month and see where that leads me?

Okay, an article a day isn’t too much to ask, especially if I get an experience that I can blog about at the end of it. Kinda like investigative journalism, minus the scandals. After reframing myself, I immediately sprang to action and posted something. This was when I noticed that the Coinpayu blog offered several paid articles - 5 to be exact. I scanned through all of them and received 24 sats.

These articles weren’t too bad. Some typo errors aside, they offered step-by-step instructions on how to use a particular wallet or details on Coinpayu’s campaigns. Shouldn’t bite the hand that feeds me. Unfortunately, I can only transfer my sats from the Coinpayu blog account to my main Coinpayu account when I accumulate 250 sats, so I gotta search for more paid articles.

In all, blogging at Coinpayu may not be worth it since there seems to be rather little publicity about it. I don’t know what I must do to have my articles eligible for payment. But since I decided to commit one month to exploring it, check back with me then to see if it is a viable platform for your blogging empire!
