Farming a possible Orbiter Finance airdrop

By cryotosensei | CryptoSensei | 11 Sep 2023

One of the greatest things that happened to me this year was benefiting from the Arb Nova airdrop. It was a cool $1000 bucks towards fulfilling my retirement fund target.

So, I have been on the hunt for other airdrops. One possible airdrop on my radar is Orbiter Finance. My optimism is fueled when 3 people on the Reddit sub i patronised confirmed the possibility of the Orbiter Finance airdrop. Please don’t take their words as financial advice though.

I forgot to take a screenshot but another user said that Orbiter Finance confirmed its airdrop on its Discord channel. I certainly hope that it’s true!

So what is Orbiter Finance, I hear you ask? It is a decentralised cross-rollup bridge for transferring ETH native assets. According to https://www.alchemy.com/dapps/orbiter-finance, it supports these networks: Orbiter supports cross-rollup transfers (e.g. ETH, USDC, USDT, and DAI) between Ethereum, StarkNet, zkSync, Loopring, Arbitrum, Arbitrum Nova, Optimism, Polygon, BNB Chain, ZKSpace, Immutable X, dYdX, Metis and Boba.

Using Orbiter Finance is easy. I just needed to connect my MetaMask wallet to this website.

I swapped my ETH Arb Nova to ETH Mainnet.

The process was instantaneous. My ETH Mainnet arrived at my MetaMask within minutes. Just don’t forget to use revoke.cash. When you use a DEX, you also give it permission to spend your tokens and NFTs. Some hackers may hack the DEX and exploit your smart contracts to take away all your assets. So, Revoke.cash helps you to revoke access to your wallet.

Unfortunately, I don’t know how many times you must use Orbiter Finance in order to qualify for its airdrop. I just do the best I can and leave the rest to God.

And another tip: If you bridge USDC from Nova to One you'll get USDC.e (bridged USDC, different token contract). If that happens to you, USCD.e is supported on Coinbase.
