The collapse of FTX meant that I could no longer transfer my Publish0x earnings on Kucoin to it and subsequently transfer it to Gemini for my off-ramping purposes. So I’m currently searching for other viable ways.

Transferring USDC from Kucoin to Gemini

Someone on Telegram reached out to me to suggest that I could transfer USDC directly from Kucoin to Gemini. This sounded like a viable option although I need to check if Kucoin would allow me to convert USDT to USDC. Or is it the case that I have to convert AMPL to ETH and subsequently trade this ETH for USDC? I can’t wait to find out!

Making a transfer from Kucoin to Kraken 

Kraken customer support staff are famously active on r/cryptocurrency. I saw an opening and seized the opportunity to ask the following question:

Actually I have a question. I’m trying to get my coins off Kucoin. Does Kraken support networks other than ERC-20? Like TRC-20, SOL, ALGO etc?

Within minutes, I received a reply from Kraken - and it was a reassuring yes!

From this link it seems that I can withdraw USDT from Kucoin to Kraken via the TRC-20 network, convert it to LTC on Kraken and transfer it to Gemini. Thank goodness Kraken is available to us Singaporeans.

Again, I can’t wait to try this out! Gotta accumulate my tips first though. Watch this space.
