Do you use the Lightning Network?

Many things can be hotly contested in this sub, but one thing that most people come to a consensus to is that Bitcoin is regarded as a “blue chip” in this volatile space. As such, most people intend to DCA and HODL BTC for the long term. The reasons may vary. Some think of it as creating a legacy (and maybe an inheritance) for their children; others still wistfully hope for $100k to be reached at end 2021 so that they can fast forward their retirement plans.

However, with the prevalence of the Lightning Network, are you starting to use petty sats in real life? This is especially so when the most random shops and stores you come across somehow accept sats when you least expect it. Do you sometimes use the Lightning Network because you want to support local people and their industries? Maybe they are turning to BTC because they want to escape the clutches of fiat. Maybe you are attuned to the Lightning Network and know many ways to get sats for little effort, so you don’t mind passing them on to others. If so, what proportion of BTC do you HODL and what proportion of BTC do you employ in your daily transactions?
