A Gen Z asked the collective intelligence of Seedly about whether he should go for centralised or decentralised platforms to park his assets and earn some interest. So here is my response in all its rawness and unfilitered candidness:

Instead of thinking in terms of centralised vs decentralised, why not focus on the individual company itself?

Hodlnaut does not pay me to say this (although it should), but seriously, it's going to be hard to find a platform that offers more interactive thrills and prompt services. Just this month, it is organising a holiday airdrop referral program PLUS a lucky spin for the first 500 users who were fastest fingers first in accessing the link. Its Telegram channel isn't so big as to make you feel overwhelmed. Its social media manager, Chang Teck and ambassadors are always quick to answer repetitive questions like what's the best way to transfer USDC to Hodlnaut and the like. And it introduces new features ever so often: free monthly withdrawal, fixed deposits for higher-end consumers with larger crypto portfolios, among others. It keeps things fresh.

I'm in the Telegram channel for Cake DeFi and it just doesn't feel as cosy and intimate.

I think ultimately, you will want to park your funds with people whom you kinda feel connected with, nope?

That is not to say that I will refrain from other platforms. So, next year, I intend to open an account with Celsius. And guess why I can do that?
