Bitcoin and Ethereum are like "blue chip" cryptocurrencies. While we should continue to invest in them as they are most likely to go mainstream, it would be foolhardy to expect that we will be able to derive huge profits from them. To build our wealth, we should look to altcoins like Cardano and Solana and even Shiba Inu who came out of nowhere and rose to fame in 2011. For investors who bet their hopes on these cryptocurrencies, they were handsomely rewarded as the value of these coins multiplied so crazily such that some of them instantly turned into crypto millionaires overnight. So, if you have the means to set aside some play money and practise your judgement by buying some lesser-known coins and tokens, what should you place your bets on? These 3 coins will be what I'm going with. See if you agree with my predictions!
1) Loopring ($LRC)
Loopring is an open protocol that helps people build decentralized exchanges on the Ethereum network. We all know that Ethereum is so heavily employed that its gas fees routinely send our jaws dropping and hearts sinking. Loopring is a much welcomed alternative to Ethereum because it makes use of ZK-Rollups. By taking hundreds of transactions off Ethereum's Layer 1 blockchain and bundling them into one transaction, Loopring's strategic use of ZK-Rollups alleviates the hectic buzz of activity on this blockchain.
2) Crypto.com Coin ($CRO)
Crypto.com Coin also exhibits immense promise, if the response shown by netizens on my nation's popular personal finance site is anything to go by. Many zealous crypto enthusiasts in Singapore are interested to acquire the crypto.com visa rewards card and stake $CRO. There are always animated discussions going on as people lament how they have been waiting for months for the card in vain and discuss the merits and demerits of the various card tiers. Still, it seems to be worth the wait as several lucky crypto users share their happiness about depositing their CROs into Crypto DeFi Earn to garner a mouthwatering 12% APY. Moreover, Crypto is spending vast amounts of money on marketing these days. It even scored an exclusive deal last year as Staples Center in Los Angeles has been renamed Crypto.com Arena. I venture that scoring the naming rights to such an iconic landmark will boost its publicity and convince people who are sitting on the fence to give crypto.com a shot.
3) DeFi Kingdoms ($JEWEL)
DeFi Kingdoms elevates the concept of MMORPG games by empowering players to play the game with utility-based NFTs called Heroes. Since the advent of playing-to-earn games, DeFi Kingdoms seems poised to take advantage of the energy and enthusiasm many crypto HODL-ers have, especially with the influx of metaverse narratives in the crypto space. This game is built on Harmony, which is a groundbreaking innovation because it has gone into territory no many other games have ventured before, i.e. going cross-chain. It not only trestles bridges to BSC, ETH and Terra, has confirmed its expansion to the Avalanche ecosystem and is on the way to securing other chains such as Polygon, Fantom and Terra. Truly everything under one roof!
