Ethereum

1. Did you know that according to data from IntoTheBlock, ETH has 73.9 million long-term HODLers currently, as compared to 33.6 million BTC long-term HODLers?

2. How deep is your love for ETH? Do you fancy buying the Ethereum Phone, a Google Pixel 7a that runs on the Ethereum Operating System for five thousand bucks? The phone has an in-built ETH client & thus works as a light node.

3. Did you know that Vitalik Buterin has $244k ETH on the Gnosis chain?

4. Did you know that Coinbase and Binance have chosen Optimism Stack to build their own layer-2 blockchain solutions on Ethereum? OP Stack is advantageous because it boasts compatibility with multiple proofs. This gives developers the option to either implement fraud proofs for optimistic rollups or validity proofs for ZK rollups.

5. Coinbase got approved by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission to launch its own Bitcoin and Ether futures via its Coinbase Financial Markets platform.

6. Despite the SEC’s clampdown on crypto, it will soon approve ETH Futures ETFs, which are derivatives contracts tied to ether rather than ether itself.

7. Did you know that WorldCoin is built on Ethereum as a L2 using zero-knowledge proofs?

8. Ethereum staking pools Rocket Pool, StakeWise, Stader Labs and Diva Staking have all committed to self-limiting their pools to below 22% of Ethereum validators. Decentralisation FTW!  But Lido, which has one-third of all validators (32.4%), refused to self-limit.

9. Ethereum blockchain has 5 testnets i.e Goerli, Sepolia, Ropsten, Rinkeby & Kovan. Kovan is named after a metro station in Singapore. Sepolia is named after a metro station in Athens, Greece. Ropsten and Rinkeby are named after metro stations in Stockholm, Sweden. Goerli is named after a metro station in Berlin, Germany.

10. Additionally, Goerli will get deprecated this December and be replaced by a testnet called Holesky. Holesky is named after a metro station in Prague.
