I'm including a number rating out of ten at the end of each brief review based on my experience of what I'll call "worthwhile-ness"
Presearch -- Billing itself as a "next generation search engine powered by the community," PreSearch aims to disrupt the hold the likes of Google have on search engine users by building a community driven, decentralized alternative that rewards its users. 10/10
Coin --Coin is the app the XYO Network has created for users to help them collect data and earn in return. XYO strikes me as one of those companies that will either be big or be a complete bust. XYO collects geospatial location data they hope companies will want to use for all kinds of purposes such as confirming deliveries. Imagine most vehicles being equipped with a bit of hard/software w/a crypto wallet. Your car is parked outside your apartment building when your neighbor has a package delivered by UPS. The package has a tiny tracking device on it. The device in your car picks up the signal from the tracking device and records its location. In turn, your crypto wallet automatically receives a sort of micro tip in the form of cryptocurrency in exchange for validating the package's location. Or your car has cameras on it capable of identifying the location of potholes on city streets. It then can automatically send this info to the relevant authorities. In return, you again get a small automatic reward in your crypto wallet. (the last example is actually from IOTA's partnership w/Jaguar but is relevant to the type of location database XYO intends to create)

XYO's Sentinel Device
This is part of what XYO is aiming to achieve with its geospatial data collecting. And they want your help collecting it. I've been doing it for a few weeks now and it's pretty simple. Basically you install this app on your phone and you pay $13 for them to ship you a little, attractively designed device called a Sentinel you can attach to your keychain. The Sentinel and the app work together to collect the geospatial location data for XYO network. In turn you collect Coin token, which can then be exchanged for XYO (no idea why they've opted to use two tokens!). It works best for people who drive, move around or travel a lot. The more you do, the more Coin you will earn. The app does need to be open for it to be collecting Coin. I almost got a Sentinel back in February since I'm a sucker for crypto earning opportunities, especially ones you can incorporate into every day life. I finally recently got one and now wish I'd taken the plunge in February as I think I would easily get my money back and then earn a decent bit as long as XYO doesn't go bust before the next bull run. You can use the app without the Sentinel but you won't earn enough Coin for it to be worth it. First you would download the Coin app here, then get a Sentinel shipped to you for $13 here

BitTube's AirTime Extension -- An extension available for Chrome (and Brave, as Brave accepts any extensions from the Chrome Store). Unsure about Firefox, Safari, Opera availability. Install it and browse the web as usual, and it will pay you a small amount of TUBE for browsing the web. You won't get rich, but it's free and easy and simple. The extension also functions as an ad blocker (not necessary if you're already using Brave obviously) and even has a built in VPN which you can access in exchange for some of your earned TUBE. There's more to it than I've got room to cover here --you can tip your TUBE's on social media etc. As a functional ad blocker it will very occasionally block content you want to see, but when it does it provides you a temporary "pause" button so you can easily access it. It's actually better than traditional ad blockers in this sense, because it brings up a screen with a button that allows you to temporarily pause the ad blocking, rather than having to go up into your ad blocking extension to turn it off after getting a message from the website. And even better, when you're done viewing, it simply unpauses automatically, without having to manually re-enable ad blocking as you have to do with traditional extensions. Nifty little extension that pays you to use it! 8/10 (small pay, but super easy and largely hassle free)
QuiCrypto -- Just started using this one and so far am finding it okay. It has an application in it called Appzilo that will pay you in Bitcoin to do easy and simple tasks like watching YouTube videos, subscribing to channels, upvoting on Reddit, Twitter, Facebook etc. It will also pay you to watch ads and complete other simple tasks. Among similar types of apps I've tried, this one is less junky/spammy and gets high ratings on the Play Store. The pay is okay and I have successfully cashed out. I managed to make 1000 sats in just a few minutes watching videos and subscribing to YouTubes, but then the available videos ran out. 6/10
Birdchain -- Birdchain is a pretty old crypto project being developed for users to sell their unused SMS messages. I honestly don't know much about how that works as the service is currently only available in Indonesia, the U.K., Netherlands, Nigeria and Lithuania. But they also have other ways you can earn in the meantime, which basically involve clicking on links to crypto related news and such. So if you're into crypto, the things you click on are often interesting things you might click on otherwise for free anyway. Overall it seems like a decent app and I do open mine and complete tasks from time to time and earn some Birds. You can get it here7/10
Triviata -- Triviata is a simple trivia app that pays you for answering trivia quizzes (in reality for watching the ad that comes at the end of the quiz!) and rewards you in your choice of either Verasity's native token VRA or Bitcoin. I resisted trying it at first because it rewards you in "Crystals" which you then have to change into VRA or Bitcoin, but I later discovered the redemption process is super easy once you get a Verasity account. To learn more, you can read a longer post I made about it here
So far the app is boring cause they don't replace the quizzes with new ones and you keep getting repeat, but it's super easy. I follow the Verasity project pretty closely and am keen on earning some. 7/10
Mobilio -- This app is available for use, but since I recently gave up my car, I don't have any personal experience with it. Mobilio is meant to promote undistracted driving by rewarding you in its native token for not using your phone when you drive. It detects when you're driving and if you pick up your phone, you obviously don't get any tokens. I really like this idea, which is why I decided to include it here despite not being able to vouch for its usefulness personally. According to the website, the earlier you join the more you can earn. If you drive a lot, or struggle to not use your phone in the car, it may be worth it. Find it here Since I don't have a car right now or any use for the app, you can use @DimitarM's (who introduced me to it) referral code if you install it: o0h10p . Haven't used so can't give a rating
Cointiply -- This is a new faucet I've started using at the recommendation of someone whose opinion I respect. It's a bit more than a faucet as you can also earn extra by watching videos, playing a coin multiplier game, doing surveys, fulfilling offers daily loyalty bonuses etc. I suspect I will mostly only be using the faucet, and occasionally the multiplier game. One nice feature of Cointiply is it gives you an audio chime every hour to remind you that the faucet is available again. You can turn it off if you want though. So far I'm averaging about 4 cents worth of coins per day, tapping the faucet about five times per day, which isn't too bad. Better than most faucets in my experience. 7/10
LBRY -- Decentralized alternative to YouTube with earning potential. Link your YouTube for automatic uploading to LBRY and earn LBRY Credits. They are running a reward program for early users in the form of daily watch rewards and other bonuses. Honestly it was a bit tricky when I signed on figuring out how/where to get into the rewards program but give it a shot if you want. Or if you're a content creator, just sign up to earn via posting content. Rewards are not large, but this platform has promise and potential large increase in valuation. Was once valued at over a dollar! 8/10
Phoneum -- Phoneum was once listed on exchanges, but has recently disappeared from CoinMarketcap. Nevertheless this is a pretty old project with at least a halfway decent reputation. The app "cloud mines" Phoneum tokens for free, so that's why I've included it here. I press a couple buttons on my phone once a week and collect Phoneum. If it ever has any value, great. If not, worst case scenario it's taking up a small bit of space on my phone. Phoneum links to the Crypto Treasures game and I think that is its only current utility. To fund access to the game, which I've not yet played, but gives you a chance to earn/win exchangeable/redeemable crypto. 5/10
Pi Network and Electroneum are generally the only "mobile mining" apps I recommend, but Phoneum isn't overridden with spammy ads or anything so I let it hang out on my phone. You can get it here
I do highly recommend both Pi Network and Electroneum. You can read more about both here
Pi -- 10/10. Electroneum 8/10
Bitcoin Aliens Faucet -- I do use this during TV commercials and other various times I pick up my phone. It's just a slow drip tiny amount of Bitcoin, as all faucets are, but they are the one of the oldest and most reputable Bitcoin faucet around. You really need to click on ads for it to add up at all, but honestly, the ads are very short (most anyway) and tolerable. I've tried probably a dozen faucets and this is the only one I've stuck with and not ended up uninstalling. Also, if you use it enough for long enough, you'll eventually hit the 'BIG' button and it will seem more worthwhile when you do. One limitation is that they only allow you to link to a Coinbase wallet, so if Coinbase isn't available in your area, this won't work. You can get it here
5/10
Stormplay -- At least one earning app I've tried that I don't care to use personally is Stormplay. If you're a gamer this might be worth it, but otherwise there simply aren't enough quality earning opportunities to make it worth your time in my experience. They have a video watching faucet, but I much prefer to use the Bitcoin Aliens faucet. I'm not sure of the quality of the gaming opportunities, but it gets four stars on Google Play so maybe it's decent if you like games. If you do try it, please enter my referral code to earn 6000 Bolt tokens: VI9C15 (second character is a letter 'i') Go here to install
5/10
GeoCoin -- This app is still in development and not yet available. Sort of like the somewhat popular SweatCoin app (which gets mixed reviews), it's meant to encourage people to get out and move. Basically, you carry your phone to certain designated locations and are rewarded with GeoCoin. I believe they may be in beta testing but I could not find an app to download. Will update as project evolves -- assuming it does!
Try Brave Browser (Would be a 10 out of 10 if they had consistent ad availabilty --they often stop coming)
