I always keep an eye out of new investment opportunities, and occasionally I come across an interesting idea that catches my attention.  This one I am pleased with so far.   If you are not familiar with Robinhood already, let me introduce it to you.  It is a slick easy to use broker app with a lot of benefits to those of us who trade on the go.

Robinhood is an app that allows you to invest in the stock market and some cryptocurrencies.  While nothing is exciting about that.  The thing that attracted me was that it offers new users free stock.  If you have a friend refer you, you’ll get one free share.  It can range from $2 up.  They have some pretty good stock that you can get for free.

The app interface is very streamlined and user friendly.  They are limited in the types of accounts that they offer, so a professional trader might think twice before joining.  But for those of us who just want to invest and watch it grow, it’s great.  Best of all, there is no transaction fee, and the minimum balance is $0.  You can start investing with as little as $1.  So even if you want to just experiment with investing, this works.
