Daily Loot Box
XCAD recently introduced “daily loot boxes” into their platform. Basically, this is where you can open a loot box and potentially win up to 750 PLAY tokens. I personally haven’t won that much, the most I have received from one box has been 7 PLAY, which I thought isn’t actually too bad.
What I like about this feature is that anyone can do this. You don’t need to invest into an NFT to be able to claim from the daily loot box. You just need to install the app, sign up and then you are ready to open the loot box to earn daily PLAY tokens. One thing you should keep in mind is that to open the box, you do need a small amount of BNB to pay for the gas fee, this costs around 0.0002 BNB.
If we take a look at PLAY and you can see that the current price is just over $0.03 for 1 PLAY token (see pic below), you can see it has had a bit of a drop in price this week.
This is due to an update that XCAD brought out and a lot of people in the community are not too happy about this, however I think this is good for long term sustainability but I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens. Let’s have a quick look at what .0002 BNB will cost, you can see here it is roughly $0.04 (see pic).
So, if you win 2+ PLAY tokens, you are still making a small amount of profit. However, if you only win 1 PLAY token you will be at a very small loss but there's always a chance to win up to 750 PLAY. From my experience, I have been winning between 3-7 PLAY every time I have opened the loot box.

How to Open the Loot Box
To open the loot box click on the “X” at the bottom of the app or the extension which will bring up this screen.
You will see the daily rewards section near the top. Click on “Claim” and then select “open your gift box”. Remember when you get to this point you will need some BNB in your wallet to pay for the gas fee. To move onto the next step and see how much the gas fee will be, click on “Calculate Transaction Fee”, you will then see the fee appear which is usually around 0.0002 BNB.
To finish claiming your loot box click on “Claim my Reward” and you will then receive PLAY tokens into your unclaimed wallet. This can take up to 5 minutes to arrive into your wallet, I usually wait until I have around $10 worth of PLAY before claiming and withdrawing my PLAY tokens.

Overall Risk
Overall, I like the fact that you can sign up for free and claim the daily loot box without having to invest and spend any money on an NFT. So for this reason, I am saying this way of earning is low-risk. The only thing you need to do is top up your wallet with a small amount of BNB to cover transaction fees.
As for investing into this platform and buying a Nerd NFT, I would definitely class this as high-risk as there is always a chance of losing money. Please do your own research when it comes to investing money into projects like this
