Gala Games (Gala) is freshly at number three on CoinMarketCap’s trending list and ranked 75th overall. Like most coins, Gala is way down from its all-time high (ATH) but are recent flashes of recovery.

What is Gala and why should you care? Will Gala bounce back sooner than the rest of the Crypto market? Many seem to think so. Let’s go to the Gala.

Gala Games endeavors to make “blockchain games you’ll actually want to play.” The premise is that the ecosystem (Gala Node) allows players to own their content- no strings attached. Their Discord has a healthy community with more than 170,000 members, of which 20k are online at any given time.

One thing that separates the Gala from the competition is an honest effort to involve the community in decision-making. Players node owners get the opportunity to vote and determine what games and other functions get added to the ecosystem. In this way, players truly affect the roadmap for the entire project. I think of it as a DAO that actually works, instead of funneling decision-making to insiders- as most do.

Gala claims to have more than 16 thousand player-owned nodes that run its ecosystem. This feature allows creativity to develop and the opportunity to profit from those developments. The gala features more than 1.3 Million daily users that have collectively sold 26k NFTs. The largest of which sold for $3 Million USD.

GALA is the native utility token for the Gala Node Ecosystem. It is non-refundable. There is a feature called the “Founder’s Node,” and only 50,000 will ever be in existence. The founder’s note allows for consensus voting. It also allows users to gain rewards based on a point system that rewards 1 point for running a 6-hour cycle. The more nodes you own, the more points you get.

GALA’s total supply is 50 Billion, which includes the 7+ Billion already in circulation. GALA exists on the BEP-20 (BSC) and ERC-20 (ETH) blockchains. Here is a snapshot of the Distribution schedule:

Coingecko currently shows GALA at $0.061763 USD on nearly $351 Million in Volume! This is almost double the volume from seven days ago.
