KuCoin’s stated goal is to “facilitate the global free flow of digital value.” This goal means that they support technological innovation that will make crypto a daily part of life for all humans. What is the Story behind KuCoin? Why is KuCoin one of the most researched projects in the crypto-sphere?
TechCrunch writes that the Kucoin Exchange launched in 2017. Kucoin, co-founded by Johnny Lyu, now has more than 10 million users worldwide. The ecosystem is developing around the KuCoin Token (KCS). One thing that sets KuCoin apart from its competitors is its principles. The first principle is “Respect the Financial Market and Manage Risks.” This statement is uplifting; it clarifies that KuCoin, while ambitious, seeks to conduct business safely to the benefit of its users.
The KCS Whitepaper is a must-read document. It is the most concise and clear whitepaper this author can remember reading. The whitepaper details KCS’ motivation, team, tokenomics, and planned future. The total supply for KCS is 200,000,000, and after a stable burn will reach 100,000,000. On the immediate release, tokens are distributed as follows: 100M(Early Participants), 65M (Founder/Team- 4 Year Lock), 25 M (Advisors/Angels), and 10 M for market and community rewards.
The deflationary nature of the coin is triggered when KuCoin repurchases KCS from secondary markets. KuCoin claims to have burned “tens of millions of KCS” since the inception of this function. There is also a substantial rewards system and fee discounts available.
The future looks profitable for KCS and its hodlers. The exchange has more than 600 coins available and a daily trading volume of nearly 2 Billion USD.
