FireFaucet vs FaucetCrypto: A comparative review of my two favorite Crypto Faucets
My husband and I have only become interested in Crypto recently and we are still learning. Publish0x has been amazing and we’ve learned so much in a very short space of time.
I found referral links to faucets by some of my favorite authors on here and after a few months of fauceting, I have two favorites: FireFaucet and FaucetCrypto. They are similar but also very different. Here is my comparison:
FireFaucet:
Very easy to use, colorful and fun. Setup is easy and relatively quick. You level up with Activity points based on what you complete and get increasing Bitcoin Satoshi rewards as you level up.
Added Pro: Something I really like about FireFaucet: You can run it on BraveBrowser!

FaucetCrypto:
Equally easy to use and setup. You level up with Activity points similar to FireFaucet, but instead of gaining Bitcoin Satoshi, you get a bonus percentage which increases each level and gets added to every claim you make, so as you level up, your rewards grow exponentially.
Downer: Doesn’t run on BraveBrowser, you need to run it on Chrome or similar.

FireFaucet vs FaucetCrypto main difference:
FireFaucet is based on doing tasks that you gain AutoClaim Points (ACPs) for and then you can use these to run the faucet on whichever Crypto you choose. You can choose to either run it on one currency or on all currencies at the same time. You also get the option to choose to run the faucet at 1x speed or at 4x speed. The currencies are: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Litecoin, Dash, Tron, Zcash and Digibyte.

FaucetCrypto also runs on tasks, but instead of using an auto faucet which you then use to mine currencies, you collect coins which you can then convert to a single currency. They have a vast selection of options: Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Sv, Bitcoin, Bittorrent, Dash, Digibyte, DogeCoin, Ethereum Classic, Ethereum, Komodo, Litecoin, Piratecash, Pivx, Reddcoin, Ravencoin, Syscoin, Tron, Verge, Zcash and Horizon. Most of these are direct withdrawal but some are only to FaucetPay. Plus Minus 4.24 Coins per 1 Satoshi (I’m not sure what criteria this changes according to).
FireFaucet claims timer: every 30 minutes
FaucetCrypto claims timer: every 40 minutes and has a bell alarm you can switch on
FireFaucet Daily Bonus: Varies from day to day so you never know how many AutoClaim Points (ACPs) you’ll get
FaucetCrypto Daily Bonus: You get a set amount of 35.00 points every day
FaucetCrypto Awesomeness: No Captcha to complete!
FireFaucet tasks for AutoClaim Points: PayToClick Ads (You get a set amount of 50 ACPs for each ad you watch. You are required to put in a verification number after each ad. They are generally shorter than FaucetCrypto. Shortlinks awesomeness – I really like that they mark the dodgy ones with NSFW (Not Safe For Work). Offerwall. Referral program (20%)
FaucetCrypto tasks for Coins: PayToClick Ads (range from 9.99 coins to over 20 coins per ad depending on the length of the ad and this also increases as you level up). Shortlinks, Offerwall, Something great about FaucetCrypto shortlinks is the lack of Capcha and that they mark the health of each shortlink. Sometimes the higher paying shortlinks have a lower health rating, but I haven’t had any serious issues with them other than sometimes being extremely convoluted and confusing – use your discretion please. Referral program (20%)

FireFaucet awesomeness: Runs a happy hour each day of the weekend where you get a 50% bonus on all AutoClaims running.
Both run achievements depending on what you complete each day.

Main Claiming difference:
FaucetCrypto has a minimum withdrawal of 500 coins and a fee of 50 coins per withdrawal. This you can easily reach within a few days of signing up. I really like this about FaucetCrypto. I’ve been active on FaucetCrypto for about two weeks and claimed 9 times. I have levelled up to lvl57 and that’s without doing the offerwall and a lot of the shortlinks. You have a daily coins withdrawal limit which increases as you level up.
FireFaucet has a minimum withdrawal amount in Crypto which differs depending on the currency - which takes much longer to reach and can be demoralizing in this regard, but you get a bigger chunk out withdrawing a larger amount. A very cool difference with FireFaucet is that you can exchange the currency you mined to a different currency with an average fee of 3%. This can help to speed up the process of getting to a withdrawal amount. As you level up, you also get a percentage times bonus, but it seems to be lower than FaucetCrypto. I have only managed to level up to lvl22 and I’ve been using it longer than FaucetCrypto.
To summarize my comparison
I think they are both great faucets, easy to use and although similar, I must admit that I am biased towards FaucetCrypto because I have been able to claim 9 times already and the levelling up tends to go faster and the level up times bonus is higher.
The ultimate test for me will be when I finally reach an amount in FireFaucet that I can withdraw and then I will compare my earnings from both. I’ll update with a blog post when I get there.
