Bitcoin reached a new ATH and broke through the $93,000 mark, leading to a significant rally in the broader market. However, altcoins remain in the relative doldrums: a profit from such assets is clearly not something that many will hold their positions for years. In the current situation, it is important to understand where to allocate capital next.

At this stage, my plan is to put the free USDT that has been freed up after profit taking in WIF and PEPE into coins and tokens, which I think look promising. 

Obviously, the market is now being actively pumped with money, and meme coins play an important role in this process. However, significant growth of traditional projects by 5-10 times may be too costly for large players. In this situation, their goal is to accumulate liquidity through meme coins and subsequently redirect funds into fundamental assets to ensure further growth of the market.

The meme season has arrived and many projects are showing explosive growth. Among the top blockchain platforms is Solana, which has shown great results. In this article, I will share my actions in the current environment and talk about portfolio diversification for the current bull phase.

SOLCAT

This is a game on the Solana blockchain that promises to be a real discovery of 2024. In the game, you have to control a cat (SOLCAT) that bypasses other meme tokens (PEPE, POPCAT, DOGE and others) - they are represented as obstacles. With this move, the project team explicitly hinted at the enormity of their own plans. And they have every reason to be:

1. The game's development team has already been spotted creating Meme tokens, which have been capitalized at $1 billion. It is also known that part of the team was behind the creation of Heroes of Mavia, where they raised $2.5 million from early investors;
2. Rumors are actively circulating online that Crypto.com Capital, Binance Labs and Animoca Brands are sponsoring SOLCAT;

Of course, there are still formalities that the company has to deal with, but the bottom line is clear - XRP is not a security and the regulator will no longer pursue the company. 

In addition, XRP is being chosen by major banks around the world to make cross-border payments with minimal fees. If you look at Ripple's partners, it is clear how much the SEC has spoiled the company's position with its courts. The asset is now targeting over $1 and has every chance of doing so. 

BTC

Of course, we should have bought bitcoin before the US election, but better late than never. Now the main cryptocurrency is showing an upward trend, which, in theory, is difficult to break. Users are in euphoria, because the ATH update was waited for more than 2 years. 

Also a factor in bitcoin's growth is Donald Trump, who will be the next president of the United States. In his pre-election speeches, he spoke warmly about cryptocurrencies, and also proposed to make the US State Reserve out of BTC. If America implements this idea, further bitcoin growth will not be long in coming. 

BNB

A native token of the Binance ecosystem that I have several reasons to invest in: 

1. Great deflationary model, in the form of the quarterly BNB burn;
2. Changpeng Zhao is out of jail and the SEC has settled all disputes with Binance;
3. Binance now has a new CEO - Richard Teng. It is likely that the new executive will bring promising avenues of development for the exchange;
4. Binance is no longer an exchange, but an entire ecosystem with its own blockchain, DEX, Launchpad and other products all using BNB. An asset with a clear use case will always be appreciated. 

TON

A relatively young but extremely promising ecosystem that will "sensationalize" in 2024. NOT, DOGS, HMSTR, Catizen and others operate on the Toncoin blockchain. Also, we should not forget TON itself, as the asset shows positive dynamics for almost the entire 2024. 

The only unfortunate event for the ecosystem this year - on 25 August, Pavel Durov was arrested in France on a number of charges, but on 28 August he was released on €5 million bail, but banned from leaving the country. This was a serious blow to Toncoin reputation, as Durov was the project's only media face. 

Either way, the project is worthwhile, and the prospect of Durov resolving his legal issues will be a catalyst for growth for the entire Toncoin ecosystem.  

SOL

There are 3 main reasons why you should pay attention to SOL: 

1. The possibility of a SOL-ETF launching in the US, in the first quarter of 2025, which is now being actively rumored online. If this happens, the asset could make a nice profit; 
2. The Solana ecosystem is showing growth in the decentralized finance (DeFi) sector, with an increase in total blockchain funds (TVL). The increasing use of decentralized applications (DApps) on the platform indicates a growing demand for Solana-based solutions;
3. By the end of 2024, it is safe to say that Pump.fun (a platform on the Solana blockchain) is the best meme coin aggregator to find promising tokens like SOLCAT.

ETH

In the case of ether, it is simple - it has not yet reached its previous ATH. The last historical high was recorded at $4,891 and ETH is now worth just over $3,000. The asset has room to grow, which is why it will be in my portfolio. 

In addition, Buterin and the rest of the Ethereum Foundation developers continue to work on the blockchain, regularly updating the network. The number of new projects appearing on the Ether blockchain is growing every day, reinforcing ETH's pre-top position among all cryptocurrencies. 

Conclusion

It is important to note that this is not an advertisement, but the result of a thorough analysis of the cryptocurrency market. In the portfolio there are both clear coins and quite controversial ones that will not suit everyone. 

One thing I know for sure is that when a project is supported by structures such as Binance Labs, Animoca or Crypto_com, as is the case with SOLCAT, it inspires confidence in the team and gives reason to expect good results.
