When I first invested in Cryptos, I learnt about MetaMask and other crypto wallets from various YouTubers worldwide. It’s also positively mentioned by Guy from Coin Bureau. 

I downloaded MetaMask from Apple Store on my iPhone. I was very surprised to see 2.1 Ratings and poorly reviews from users. Also it’s the version 3.7.0 However, this is the only MetaMask option I can download to use on my phone.

Issues 

I transferred some ETH, BNB and SHIB to this wallet but then… 

1.) I couldn’t swap coins 

2.) I couldn’t transfer my coins to other wallets or back to Binance Exchange

3.) Sometimes, my coins disappeared from the wallet and then reappeared. It’s on and off like that non-stop.

4.) The wallet is slow and freezed many times 

5.) I tried to download MetaMask extension on google chrome and sync the account with my phone but it did not work 

6.) My funds/coins didn’t show up on my MetaMask after using the same seed phrases that I opened the account on my phone 

7.) I could not do anything just watching my coins stuck in the wallet only

I was 100% certain that I downloaded and used the correct and official MetaMask link (not a phishing site).

Finally, I could manage to transfer my ETH and SHIB to another accounts after many attempts and wasting so many days and hours. My BNB was stuck in the wallet still. 

MetaMask Support 

I sent so many tickets asking for help from the staff. However, it took them few weeks to reply me. I still not be able to recover my BNB. I need to explain my issue again and again many times as not only one staff takes care of my issue. To sum up, the staff couldn’t solve the problem. 

My solution 

Download MetaMask extension and use on google chrome only. The desktop version is 10.7.0 and has different ratings and reviews.

I was scared and stopped using MetaMask for few months and instead have been using other crypto wallets. Nevertheless,  there are many sites that require MetaMask wallet only. Hence, I need to use MetaMask again. 

There are many people who were hacked using MetaMask while other wallets have lower chance to get hacked. I wonder why many platforms still support MetaMask.
