Yakiniku lovers should not miss this when you come to Osaka.

Many famous Japanese celebrities and wealthy Japanese business man come here for this tasty beef despite the fact that it's located in dangerous zone and nearby traditional Japanese red light district. 

There are also franchises in Shinsaibashi, Kyobashi ... which is very easily accessed by tourists. However, I personally prefer this original place because the taste is slightly different. Tengachaya area is cheaper compared to city centre, therefore, we can get better quality of meat with more reasonable price. 

My all time favorite menu is roast beef and tongue! It's highly recommended. 

Transportation 

by taxi - about 20 minutes from Osaka Umeda depending on traffic condition and peak/off-peak hours. There is not a lot of taxi there so it's also a good idea to book taxi to pick you up in advance. 

by train - not recommended as it's a dangerous area and the restaurant is located far from the train station. If you want to challenge yourself then you can take Midosuji Line from Umeda to Dobutsuen-Mae. The train ride takes about 15 minutes then walk about 10 minutes from the station to the restaurant.
