The Cryptocurrency investment trend causes permanent damage. (Short entry)

Mind you, I am not here to act like I am a saint, nor that I haven't done some investments in cryptocurrencies myself throughout my time in the blockchain & cryptocurrency universe - however, I will disclose that I am first and foremost an activist and ideologist before anything.

In the grand scheme of things it might look like it's a positive trend, that cryptocurrencies have gained traction among the general public at an alarming rate with each and every passing day; after all most of us are looking to spread the word of the until now, silent technological and asset revolution that has been going on since Bitcoin first was introduced to the world.

But everything comes at a cost; I feel like there is a gross missrepresentation of what we are trying to achieve, a decentralized future, free from corruption, abuse, and manipulation.

Instead, cryptocurrencies come across as the next get-rich overnight Ponzi scheme especially on Publish0x, a place where people should know better, but all I see from day to day is how to grow your portfolio, invest in x and y, how this and that is going to make you create wealth generation that you wouldn't believe, and quite frankly it's sickening.

I am definitely not opposed that people can make a living off of dealing with cryptocurrencies one way or another, but many of you guys are faulty in making it sound like "just another method to invest your money" rather than what it really represents.

This can cause permanent damage to the further development and progress of a decentralized future. I doubt the world is ready and matured enough to embrace this incredibly powerful technology we got at hand.

You may think I am a crazy ideologist; and that's fine by me, you're entitled to your opinion.
