The Sandbox is a metaverse where players can create experiences and games within the lands in the virtual universe of The Sandbox. Usually every month in the “Events” tab we have a new event rewarding players with a Prize Pool of Sand Tokens.

Champions Tactics Event on The Sandbox

The Champions Tactics Event will be available until March 10th, as a way to promote the Ubisoft Champions Tactics game and also celebrate the launch of the Champions Tactics NFT Collection on The Sandbox. This partnership with the metaverse through the Sand Rewards Pool encourages Ecosystem Players to participate in the event and thus end up learning more about the main game with the presentation of mechanics during the event experience.

The good thing about these events for companies is that the rewards pool ends up coming from the company's marketing budget to reach the Web3 Games audience and since the $SAND Pool is fixed at 65K, they can attract the maximum number of players without having to pay more if the number of participants increases too much. For players who purchase the NFTs, there is a cool benefit: they will receive 3 Unique Champions with random stats, to play in Ubisoft's Champions Tactics.
Trials of Grimoria - Gameplay Tips

The event takes place in the Land Grimoria where there are conflicts happening between different factions, each one within one of the game's maps, that fight for dominance. So, the experience of this event consists of you going through the Grimoria missions using strategy in a turn-based board game and defeating your opponents and in other quests collecting some items scattered around the maps.

In the battles part you will choose two heroes to put in position 1 (Tank) and position 2 (DPS). The battle takes place in turns, in which you will always be the first to perform one of the 3 functions: Magic Attack, Melee Attack and Defense. The winner is whoever defeats the enemy heroes first.
The first tip is to choose magic attacks in duels, because they cause more damage most of the time and not to use defense on the second character, since the attacks always go to the first. Also, as soon as you collect enough Thunderstones by winning the matches, remember to buy a stronger character from the store on the first map.
Event Requirements and Rewards

The total Reward Pool is 65,000 $SAND Tokens, with 50K going to users who own an NFT from the Champions Tactics collection and the remaining 15K being distributed to all players. It may not be a large amount of tokens for each participant, but it is a fun and free event.
The requirements to participate in the Rewards Pool were 12 EP, but a bug occurred where it only counted 10 EP, even after completing all the quests. But now it has been fixed and if you complete all the objectives and missions of the event you can get these 10 points in about 40 minutes. In addition, you need a verified account to receive the rewards.
