Hello Fellow cryptolohians!
I have something really important to tell you.
As you undoubtedly know by now, coronavirus is trampling upon civilization in astounding ways, more evidence coming up every day about the seriousness of the situation, with the constant unsettling videos of people collapsing on the streets.
I am not gonna lie, it captured my attention more than anything else. I took action, and my family is safe. But for how long?
Just look at the descent to the abyss that is occurring in Guayaquil, a city of 2 million people in Ecuador, South America:
But well, you are here for the crypto stuff. So let's get to it.
I have so far 3 crypto projects in this blog:
- 1 Year HODLing experiments with a multitude of coins (and I even wanted to add more coins)
- My project titled: Hidroponia, in which I do as many airdrops as possible, and I also do a monthly giveaway till December 2020
- I also wanted to find the next Stellar Lumens: Meaning, the idea to find the nascent crypto that is valued at 0.000001 USD and purchase 100 USD worth of that and ride that thing until it reaches the value of 0.01 USD during the next bull market.
Well, I came to a conclusion a couple of hours ago. I will cancel the 3 projects. Let me explain:
For project HODL, I assumed that civilization will remain similarly for the foreseeable future, or that it would improve materially. That was a mistake, I didn't see this particular black swan event coming at all, it was my mistake. But now that BTC bullish movement is kind of a question mark, it would be irresponsible to not cancel that project, especially since I might need to stock up in food and to pay rent in advance, and other essentials.
For Hidroponia, I have just 2 qualifying participants, I have chosen the person to give the first and only giveaway and it went to this address:
4.26 USD worth of ETH
I also send 9.62 USD worth of Atomic Wallet Tokens to him: https://explorer.binance.org/tx/D2C950AD281FB25A1067218B9ADA84B3581374A0867B1914954E31E90BB6FCA5
His name is Albert Alberti.
For the Stellar Lumens project: At this point, truthfully, we don't even know if BTC is going to make it, it is a beautiful experiment and so far BTC has been sort of a piece of art of incentives and structure building, but we always knew that it could be defeated, didn't we?? If by any chance Guayaquil copy-pastes to New York, a ton of BTC address might be lost, if even basic services get disrupted, then how crypto even be traded peer-to-peer?
Don't get me wrong, I still prefer crypto over fiat currency, but we have to be frank and beware of the danger, especially when food shortages might come sooner rather than later, and thus, food might become a good prepper investment. China, that gigantic and disgusting dictatorship could not even contain that virus, which means that for all intents and purposes is basically unstoppable, look at this:
Shortage of Food in China
21 Million Cellphone Accounts Cancelled in China (cellphones are connected with national ID and Banking)
I will try to focus again of essay-style content, although it might be more sporadic, although experiments were fine and interesting when the whole world started to change rapidly, the idea became less and less interesting, and sometimes, even kind of foolish.
So, for now, we are in this new status. I hope you understand.
