Wolf's Clothing, a New York City (NYC)-based Bitcoin start-up dedicated to the Lightning Network, has been established by Stone Ridge Holdings Group, the parent company of NYDIG.
For eight weeks at a time, Wolf wants to invite entrepreneurs and businesses from around the globe to New York City "to focus on the development, expansion, and funding of firms developing on Lightning." The initiative is open to all applications and will consider businesses that expand on Lightning and Taro over a wide range of themes.
Accepted applicants will get a guaranteed investment of $250,000 from Wolf along with lodging and transportation from anywhere in the world, with the exception of one cohort winner who will receive $750,000.
Those that are selected will have the chance to collaborate with Wolf's full-time internal advisors, who are authorities on a variety of subjects, including Bitcoin, Lightning, and Taro, as well as marketing, branding, engineering, sales, regulation, cryptography, and more.
Long-term partners that have worked with Stone Ridge and NYDIG will also invest in Wolf and serve as mentors for the initiative.
