Synonym, a Bitcoin and Lightning Network service provider, has launched the Bitkit Wallet, a portable bitcoin wallet for both Apple and Android devices.
Numerous features, including portable social profiles, dynamic pay contacts, interoperable data streams, and password-free web accounts, are included in the wallet. The wallet also creates keys for Slashtags, a recently created web protocol by the company, using Bitcoin cryptographic seeds.
Users can regulate their data with the help of slashtags. The protocol doesn't need a blockchain, has features like uncensorable social profiles, contacts that are updated automatically, contact payment preferences, passwordless authentication, and more.
Because the Slashtags protocol is open-source and modular, developers can easily access the ecosystem. In fact, the business even created a software development kit that acts as a "Playground" or sandbox for developers to use in order to mimic various Slashtag use-cases.
Additionally, Synonym presented two fresh projects at the most recent PlanB Forum. Pear, a tokenized credit system for goods, services, and assets, as well as Blocktank Instant Blocktank enables wallet providers and exchanges to easily onboard users to the Lightning Network.
