I don't mean this metaphorically. t00bs is the latest project to fool "investors" — any NFT that comes from a US-based company is now officially trash.
In order to comply with securities law that may exist in the future, all these US based NFT projects are making SURE to deliver no revenues or yields to their NFTs. That is, completely negating any of the advantages that crypto actually brings to the business world.
What this is, really, is a way for NFT founders to blame legalities for why they are no longer responsible for your ROI.

Excuse me?
"could prove to be valuable if the company becomes large"?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
And they expect you to build shit for the "company" for free that IT benefits from but YOU don't, except in the hopes that secondary floor price goes up and you can sell that ugly shit to some other dumb silly motherfucker? Fuck off!
But Alucard! You still have rights to the IP!
?? The art on projects like t00bs is garbage. You can't use that trash as a brand mascot! At least BAYC looked decent enough to put on a barbecue sauce wrapper.
And I'm not even sure you have the rights to t00bs and other projects. I don't think you do on Valhalla. If not, that means you can't even go out and make your own business on top of the brand. It's WORSE than a franchise. At least if you buy a McDonald's, you can sleep in the building if the business fuckin flops.
This shit is some bullshit. And I don't know who to blame more — the piece of shit regulators, the predatory founders or the dumb as fuck investors. Fuckin CloneX running around looking like PS1, fuckin BAYC/Otherside just a fuckin copy of Fortnite, WHAT the fuck.
Mind you, this is coming from someone who owns several blue chip NFTs. I'm starting to see why these web2 people make fun of us. Cuz the pencil neck regulators are winning.
Bottom line, with no web3 advantages, you are buying into a useless secondary market. The value of the NFT has no direct link to any revenues of the underlying business. You're just hoping the hype from any business success gets reflected in the secondary market price. This is the dumbest shit I've ever heard in my life.
I remember when NFT founders actually tried. No more. And I hope you know what you're getting into if you trade the US side of this market.
Mind you, this is only in the US. If you use crypto as intended, you can create amazing virtual businesses and incredible connections with the people who fund you.
