I do enjoy yelling and screaming at nothing in particular and at everything for no real reason, but I have to be positive where positivity is due. Defi as a whole is a system that is for us, and I'm grateful to be a part of it. Why am I being so mushy? Well I'll tell you.

Liquidity farmers on BSC will know that Pancakeswap is set to update to version 2 soon. With this update comes the incredible inconvenience of having to unstake your fuckin LPs and restake them into new pools. Although this is massively time consuming and possibly costly to do, I guess it has to be done. For better functionality, I guess I'll bite the bullet.

What impressed me was that the admins at Cake were very upfront about an integration problem they faced with Alpha Homora, a connected yield farming protocol. Because of some error, the migration of LPs had to be pushed back 24 hours. But some people had already gone through the process of migrating their farms. To compensate them, Cake admins have promised an airdrop of Cake for anyone who staked on their direction and was inconvenienced because of the change in schedule.

In the meantime, Robinhood, Charles Schwab and Coinbase are doing everything they can to make your life hell anytime you stand to make a profit. Doge on the move? Site's down. WallStreetBets "colluding" to pump Gamestop to the detriment of some godless hedge fund? Tattletale to the SEC and brazenly shut down functionality in your face. Crypto as a whole set to take off? Let's fuck with taxes, the interest rate, and the NASDAQ to make sure there's as much volatility as possible. Dudes, they call defi "high risk." I say it's riskier to be out there in the world of traditional finance with all of those fuckin cheaters and piece of fucking wormshit gang members.

That's why I can't stand these fagtastic meelymouth cryptopunks (see what I did there?) who want to automatically compromise with regulators and financial institutions without even laying down a gauntlet. Why the fuck are you playing nice with a group of people who have shown you nothing but disdain from the very beginning? These are a bunch of salivating tricks waiting in front of the strip club on Wednesday at 11:59 am for the half-off 12 noon fuckin showtime. Investors getting all happy if a project has a "partnership" with a big bank or something — the same big banks that are right now trying to shake you out of your fuckin bitcoin position so they can buy under $50k. What the color coded fuck.

I know what it is. Your pathetic nerdy coder ass is all googly eyed because you feel like you finally got invited to the party. When what you didn't know is that you ARE the party. You had the invitations in your hand and street hoochies ready to let you suck tequila out of their cute little innies. And you gave up your advantage because you thought thoseguysoverthere somehow had something better. Get the fuck outta here.

Stop looking for acceptance outside of what's going on right now, because what's going on is a positive, beautiful thing. The biggest protocols in the space are actually being transparent and helping yield farmers instead of hiding $5 late fees in the fine print of the brochure. Even though there's no "customer service line" or "regulatory oversight," if you have a question about the Pancake transition, all you have to do is ask the Telegram group.

I'm really asking all of the investors and developers in the space to recognize what we have and keep it sacred. That's all. These outsiders can stay outside until they play ball our way — actually helping people make money and live out their dreams. Please consider this when they come a'knockin lookin to suck and leech.
