It's certainly much easier to criticize from the sidelines than it is to take an active part in change. Those of you who keep up with this blog know that I had to take a looooooong break from writing in order to make sure I wasn't stuck in the former paradigm. And yes, I've successfully started a project with a legit team for an incredible cause. Nowhere near done. More on that later.
I thought I could somehow graduate the blogging once I became a so-called #buidler. Not so. Somebody within a project has to be an influencer in order to get a project funded. And we've all seen countless garbage projects get funded just because somebody behind it had some clout. The influencing is more important than the fuckin utility. Shameful, but true.
So like every other indie dev/small business owner, I have to get in the habit of doing everything. May as well. Got tired of going to the spa spending 2020 bull market money. Shit gets boring.
Plus there's so much more chicanery and bullshit to call out. We'll be going directly to the source of all the garbage, Twitter. Endless supply of bullshit on crypt0 Twitter. It's insane.
Twitter's also the best place to grow an audience to fund a project. And make no mistake, that's what this is for. I definitely don't want to be stuck commenting and critiquing everybody else's shit. I'm smarter than them, but they get all the funding and glory because, what, they're sociopathic enough to unleash their mediocrity on the world and I'm not? Fuck you. Make no mistake I'm building this audience towards funding multiple projects of my own. If you don't like that, get the fuck on. I'm not going to be on the sidelines watching all these fucking idiots get all the money and glory and get to shape the world in their obsequious, retarded images. God, there are so many fucking stupid people in this crypto space scamming even stupider people out of money. And you want me armchair quarterbacking on the sidelines with your dumb ass? Not happening. I want in the game.
I've done a ton since I stopped writing, including running a 5,000 person P2E guild, getting all up in Ethereum and Flow NFTs, getting kicked out of blue chip DAOs, almost losing multiple 6 figure NFTs, meeting some of the biggest names in the space, and getting the curtain pulled back on the entire industry through conversations on superyacht parties.
Yep. Lot to talk about.
