I wanted to get a free Debit Card without need for Credit Check. I specially wanted one that does not have monthly maintenance fees. I looks at all those prepaid debit cards even sold at Dollar Tree and Walmart. They all have $7.95 monthly fee unless you have Direct Deposits in that case it is free. One of the local Dollar Tree manager told me about Cash App. He highly recommend me to not purchase the GreenDot Prepaid card that was sold for $2 at dollar store but have limits like $20 minimum to load with fee of $3.74 for every reload. Cash app charges flat-rate of $1 processing fee for each paper money deposit or reload. My solution to outrages fees with prepaid credit cards is to use Cash App. I will show you how to get $5 free cash. Cash app gives you a free debit card for all online purchases. It also provides free bitcoin purchasing, stock purchasing with just $1, and a savings account.
2) Get Started with Cash Card
Next, I will show you how to Get Started with Cash Card debit card.
The Cash Card is a free, customizable debit card that is connected to your Cash App balance. It can be used anywhere Visa is accepted.
To order yours:
a) Tap the Cash Card tab on your Cash App home screen
b) Press Get Cash Card
c) Tap Continue
d) Follow the steps
e) Cards typically arrive within 14 days.
You may have access to your card details as soon as you order it to add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay and make purchases online. If you’re unable to view your card details in the app, you’ll need to wait to activate your physical card first.
3) How to Order a Cash Card
Next, I will show you how to order your very own Cash Card debit card.
To order a Cash Card:
a) Tap the Cash Card tab
b) Tap Get Cash Card
c) Tap Continue
d) Follow the prompts
You must enter a physical mailing address to order a Cash Card. They do not support PO boxes at this time. Cash Cards typically arrive within 14 days. While you wait, you may have access to your card details to link to Apple or Google Pay from your app:
a) Tap the Cash Card tab
b) Select Add to Google Pay or Apple Pay
c) Follow the prompts
If you’re unable to view your card details in the app, you’ll need to wait to activate your physical card first. When you redesign a Cash Card or report it lost, stolen, or damaged, you have the option to select standard or expedited shipping. Standard shipping is free and Cash Cards will arrive within 14 days. Expedited shipping costs $15 but Cash Cards will arrive within 4 days. Once a shipping method is selected, they are unable to change the delivery speed.
4) Activate Cash Card
Next, I will show you how to activate you very own Cash Card debit card.
To activate your Cash Card using the QR code that arrived with it:
a) Tap the Cash Card tab on your Cash App home screen
b) Tap the green Activate button
c) Tap Ok when the app asks for permission to use your camera
d) Hold your camera over the QR code to scan it.
If you no longer have the QR Code:
a) Tap the Cash Card tab on your Cash App home screen
b) Tap the green Activate button
c) Tap Activate without QR code
d) Enter the 3-digit CVV located on the back of your physical card that arrived in the mail and follow the prompts.
When ordering cash card debit card you can customize it but you have to pay money for it. I pick the default debit card which is free. It the end primary purpose to go with Cash App because I hate to pay monthly maintenance fees from standard banks debit cards without direct deposit option or prepaid debit cards outrages $7.95 maintenance fees.
5) Cash App Reload
Next, I will show you how to load money into Card Card debit card. You can always setup a pay check direct deposit to do reload account which is highly recommend due to free if monthly $300 minimum is coming in to the account. Like I said above, you can also load paper money by providing the QR code provided by the app and go to store such as 7-Eleven, Bashas, Circle K, Dollar General, Family Dollar, GoMart, Rite Aid, Save Mart, Walgreens, GameStop, Walmart, and others. Minimum reload is $5. There is a $1 fee to load money. You can find store locations using the cash app find a location button. There is a limit of $1000 deposit limit for 7 days total and $4000 per 30 days. Maximum per transaction is $500 per deposit. Some merchants and retailers ask for your ID for verification before deposit cash.
In Conclusion
As soon as I get my Cash Card activated I can use it for all my debit cards. I would highly recommend use the Cash App routing number and account number to get direct deposits to avoid $1 cash deposit fees and the convenience. In my account Routing number 041215663 is the Sutton Bank's routing number. Cash app banking service is provided by Sutton Bank and Lincoln Savings Banks with has routing number of 073923033. As of shooting this video, I have not received my Cash Card debit card so I do not have an account number yet. I am planning on using it for all my online purchases because there is no hidden fees.
