The golden standard of importing tokens on your trust wallet is through the interface: "import crypto".
Importing tokens on your trust wallet through this interface, suppose you have the contract address of the said token (copy and paste).
If there is any risk with copy and paste of contract address, then, the second method you're going to discover will serve you from such risks.
Let's ride on!
Here is a walk through on how to import tokens with a contract address before I introduce one without a contract address.
1/ Importing Token with Contract Address
On your trust wallet, click on the doubled circle with a plus sign (+)
You'll be prompted to the 'manage crypto' page; on the right-hand:
→Click on the plus sign (+),
→Select network
→Paste contract address
→Import
Voila, and your token will be added to trust wallet.
Note: Name, Symbol and Decimal will auto-fill.
If these quotes don't auto-fill, it's likely the token has not yet been verified on coingecko.
In that case, "don't trust, verify".
2/ Importing Token without Contract Address
On your trust wallet (figure 1), head-on to the 'browser' tab:
→Search and select pancakeswap
→Select Network
→Dropdown on the ticker quote
→Input ticker or token name
→Import
→Add token to trust wallet by clicking on the trust wallet logo along the token ticker symbol.
→Click on "ok"
And your token is added to trust wallet
