We often ask kids...."what do you want to be when you grow up?"
This is wrong. It's a limiting question. It limits people from fulfilling their greatest potential. When you don't limit yourself, you are limitless.
You are capable of anything. The very first step is believing you are capable of anything.
So what is the correct question?
The correct question is....what problem do you want to solve?
The world is full of problems, and the most successful people in the world - saw an area - saw a topic - saw a situation - that needed improvement, and they decided to do something - above average - to remedy that area, topic, problem or issue.
Some of the greatest minds of our age such as Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Jack Dorsey, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Richard Branson, and even Mr. Beast. These great minds all saw something - as it was - and decided to do it better than anyone else.
Mr Beast makes chocolate. Hershey's is 1,000,000 x bigger, but he decided he could do it better.
So...my question for you is....what is your purpose? What problem will you solve? How can you make the lives of people better? When we start to focus on a goal bigger than ourselves, we are capable of moving mountains. But even when we move a mountain, we have to start by moving the very first stone.
I'm still discovering my purpose. It takes some people a lifetime to discover theirs.
My advice to you is discover your problem. Discover something that moves you, and do whatever you can to make it better.
Find the remedy. Become the remedy.
