Well damn! Nearly 1 500 views in twenty-four hours!

Well, Damn, that's Certainly a lot of Views for one Post!

Having been muddling along with between four hundred to six hundred views a day for my posts over the last few weeks, I thought that I was doing pretty well for myself (although not fantastically by any means). Then something happened on the 26th. Although I was definitely late to the party and unaware that the decision had been changed, I published a piece on the decision by OnlyFans to ban pornographic content on their site. Almost over night, I had almost one thousand five hundred views on that single writing alone. (As of today, that number is still increasing, but slowly.)

Wow, just wow. I don't know what/how else to comment on that event. I'm assuming it's a fluke of timing and audience interest. However, if it isn't and I can produce another piece of that nature at least once a day, I might actually realise my dream of earning a living (albeit a very frugal one that at least pays for my food if not my rent) from my writing efforts alone. However, I'm not going to hold my breath or much hope of that, judging from how little my posts usually earn (about $0.20 on a good day). This weekend, I'm job hunting as well as writing and milking faucets.

Thank you to everyone who read that piece and/or tipped; you've given me a big grin this weekend. I hope that I can deliver something equally engaging soon.

The content of this blog is exclusively to do with online privacy/security, cryptography and cryptocurrency: Understanding it, investing in it, mining it (in groups/crowds), developing/programming it, the social problems it aims to solve and the various ways to make more of it (or not, as various losses and failures happen). Let's get away from banksters, Capitalists and fiat, to an unbanked anarcho-syndicalist commune. || Banner image: Blogger's own.
