Crypto wallets are indispensable to the crypto community; a wallet is where every new crypto user should start. A good wallet can keep you interested, informed, and feeling safe. The wallet I chose and still use is the Exodus wallet.

I began experimenting with crypto regularly back in 2017. I had no clue what I was doing. To this day, when I explain crypto-currency and blockchain technology I still feel like the village idiot. All I can say is, as someone who wanted to be involved and is by no means a technology guru. Exodus helped me to stay active in the crypto world. Simply because their wallet is easy to use and visually what I imagined a digital wallet should be.

When I first imagined what a digital wallet should be, I visualized an app on my phone where I could log in and manage my digital investments. Much like my online banking app but for crypto. Unfortunately, back in 2017 decentralized applications (Dapps) were still on the up up, and a lot of development was happening.

I wanted to find an easy to use and safe wallet. That’s when google lead me to Exodus, only my second digital Wallet. Exodus was visually appealing to me. Their design looked cool, it had a sci-fi/modern feel and you could see every currency you owned in one glance no thanks to their circle graph.

The Exodus staff has always been available. If I had a problem the Exodus team has always answered emails or sent me updates to keep me informed. For example, I use EOS tokens most frequently. EOS raised capital through an Initial Coin Offering (ICO). When the ICO was finished and EOS was ready to switch to their real crypto currency, I was confused, I did not know how or quite frankly why I had to fix my EOS tokens. Exodus responded to this situation by creating user friendly instructions and for the most part, doing the leg work. With the click of a button, my EOS tokens were fixed, and my worries were gone. My point is, they’re working hard to make you feel comfortable which is very important when dealing with finances of any type.

Lastly, Exodus allows you to exchange crypto via their wallet. Meaning you can switch up your altcoins without hassle. You do not have to log into another website or app, you just hit the exchange tab, click the drop-down menu and begin exchanging. This was important for me because I wanted to test Dapps on different chains, and mostly because I have zero patience.
