This is a review on Coinbase exchange and Coinbase wallet.
Coinbase for me was the best place to get started. Nowadays, the Coinbase website is clean, you get instant security texts, the transactions are smooth.
When I made my first purchase on Coinbase I was nervous. 2017 Crypto transactions felt unreliable. There was exchanges “hacked”. I was scared to upload my ID online, user functionality was not at a level that gave me comfort. When the Coinbase website was down, I tried alternatives such as Krakin or QuadrigaCX. These other exchanges had the same problems, but worse. I felt vulnerable.
Today I would recommend Coinbase as my go to crypto exchange. Crypto is complicated but Coinbase has simplified it with their front-end website design. The navigation is simple, you got your home button, prices, accounts, and trade. It’s that easy, once you’ve created an account and verified yourself, all you do is click the bright blue trade button, pick a crypto, tap the buy button and you’re off to the races.
Coinbase has given security to every user at log in. They have made their overall appearance easy to navigate and now they attempt to solve digital asset storage. If you want to read more concerning the dangers of storing on an exchange in comparison to storage on a wallet, please read this medium blog.
When you create your Coinbase Wallet, you get to choose a user handle similar to social media. Coinbase allows you to send to user handles rather than long crypto addresses. I think this feature is innovative and encourages adoption over their competitors. One more feature worth a mention, Coinbase has added a cypto game achievements.
The Coinbase Wallet and Exchange design simplicity is what the crypto-currency world needs, and Coinbase has nailed that. Coinbase creates safety with their user. Thanks for reading, please suggest wallets, crypto gambling sites, video games, or Dapps below.
