Although it was demonstrated that the mining of Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies do not consume as much energy as is unnecessarily wasted in other industries, the mass media still continue to lie about it just to defend a system that is becoming obsolete, despite this the Bitcoin world continues to innovate and bring ideas to take care of the environment a little more and reuse materials that are considered waste or residues to generate energy in this case used to mine the precious cryptocurrency that aims to be the gold 2.0 in the near future.
The project consists of using organic waste from other industries (pig, chicken, cow and food factories) as raw material to produce clean energy by storing these products in digesters and through the intervention of bacteria to generate methane gas.

Cryptogranjas and Helios Energía Limpia are the two partner companies in the project to mine Bitcoins from clean energy produced by methane gas from industrial organic waste.

"Once we get the waste we transport it to our plant where we store it in biodigesters, which what they do is generate a culture of bacteria that feed on that waste and transform it into methane gas."
These biodigesters are hermetically sealed containers for organic waste that are controlled by a chemical engineer, who is in charge of maintaining an environment conducive to the proper proliferation of bacteria. After the clean gas is obtained, it is transported through a pipeline to a gas generator which produces electricity that is then stored or directly used to power the company's bitcoin mining farms.
"The interesting thing about the project is that we use that polluting gas ourselves and prevent it from reaching the atmosphere. So the electricity we generate is not only green energy but we also remove toxic waste from the environment, which makes us not only a carbon neutral but a carbon positive company the rest of the waste that remains once the methane gas is extracted is turned into fertilizer that the company irrigates in the surrounding fields."

The Cryptogranjas team already has a production plant in the province of Cordoba, Argentina, which produces 540,000 kilowatts per hour of energy that feeds 265 machines managing to mine 2.5 bitcoin per month. As of today, August 2022, the project has 37 employees working.

The main business model? The trust, explains José Saralosa, CEO of Cryptogranjas, since the average cost of the biocryptofarm is around six million dollars, so the target audience is oriented to large investors looking for a sustainable way to join the wave of crypto assets, but thanks to its exponential growth they are managing the idea of launching a Green Token that can be traded in different exchanges so that investors with less capital can participate in the project.

Among the next plans of the project, the company will open a new plant in the province of Córdoba, Argentina, together with Helios Energía Limpia and another one in the province of Buenos Aires with an approximate investment of 10.8 million dollars.
